HOW SIC7 STARTED
Somewhere in the folds of the Magaliesberg Biosphere, over a hundred
riders had gathered to race a regional enduro series.
The mountain was alive with the sound of tyres cutting through dust,
chains under tension and riders chasing seconds between the trees.
Enduro racing has a way of scattering riders across valleys and forests.
By the end of the first stage, most competitors barely know who they started beside.

Seven riders who had never met before kept crossing paths between stages.
